M&C Saatchi reorganizes and launches the acronym Sport & Entertainment Europe: Carlo Noceda is CEO

M&C Saatchi plc (“M&C Saatchi”) today announced the reorganization of its UK operations into a single group providing a comprehensive connected creative services offering for the UK and Europe, in line with its focus on a more collaborative operating model across the network. Marcus Beavers He has been appointed UK group CEO and will lead the new structure, overseeing both the UK sports and entertainment agency and a new UK agency, bringing together advertising, export, global and social issues businesses in London. This transformation creates a superior portfolio, unlocking value for both employees and customers. This significantly enhanced offering enables M&C Saatchi to more effectively leverage group-wide excellence, leveraging the existing depth of senior leadership with our broader ambitions to enhance regional strength.

To further accelerate the strong growth of the Group’s existing offerings in the Sports and Entertainment sector in Europe, it has also been created M&C Saatchi Sports & Leisure Europe. This new offering brings together M&C Saatchi’s sports and leisure capabilities in the UK, Germany and the Netherlands, with a focus on connected creativity to solve branding and marketing challenges. This will include a deliberate focus on executing targeted M&A opportunities to accelerate growth, build scale and add new capabilities.

Carlo Noceda (Pictured) He has been appointed CEO of M&C Saatchi Sport & Entertainment Europe to lead the pan-European expansion plan. The Director brings with him a wealth of creative experience in the sports and entertainment sector and takes on these responsibilities in addition to his leadership of the wider group in Europe and his role as President of M&C Saatchi Italia. Noseda will be supported by Richard Thompsonwho will become Non-Executive Chairman of M&C Saatchi Sport & Entertainment Europe, expanding his current role as Chairman of M&C Saatchi UK and bringing with him more than 25 years of experience in the sports and entertainment sector.

In line with his new expanded responsibility in the UK, Marcus Beavers will lead the UK Sports and Entertainment business, working closely with Noceda and Thompson on pan-European opportunities. Steve Martin, Global CEO, M&C Saatchi Sport & Entertainment, and Jamie Wynn Morgan, UK CEO, M&C Saatchi Sport & Entertainment, will leave M&C Saatchi Sport & Entertainment UK, following a period of sabbatical.
