Marijuana legalization debate draws large crowd at UNL

Young adults are not often cited for their interest in politics but mention the controversial words “marijuana legalization debate” and an auditorium fills to the brim with students. Over 500 people crowded into the Centennial Room at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln on February 7 to participate in Heads vs. Feds, an ongoing series debating the legalization of marijuana. The debate between Steve Hager, the former editor-in-chief of High Times Magazine, and veteran Drug Enforcement Agency special agent Bob Stutman was fueled solely by student questions.
