America’s adoption rate falls as adoption processing time grows longer

A recent study has found U.S. adoption rates decreasing by 5 percent between 2008 and 2011.  The Journal of Family Issues found one of the reasons why adoptions are falling is because of the often times lengthy adoption process, which averages two years.  NewsNetNebraska’s Chelsea Eaton reports.
