From co-hosting Sanremo “I don’t know what to expect, it’s really a surprise to do this, honoured, excited.” Speech of Giorgia, who Amadeus wanted by his side at the 2024 festival on the evening of Wednesday 7 February.
Giorgia, a veteran of Ariston, was 23 years old in 1995, when she triumphed with Come Saprei: “I was really an unaware little girl – admits the artist, in an interview with Tg1 – I did not realize at all what was happening: a lot of emotions “To be fully experienced at that age.” In that edition there was also competitor Lorella Cuccarini, whom Giorgia will now find among the co-hosts: “Laurila is not a human, she is a robot, she does everything perfectly and with a smile, she is a model.” As for Fiorello and Amadeus, he said: “Fiori is wonderful. “I would say The Promised Land” by Eros Ramazzotti, answers Giorgia. And the scariest moment when the spotlight hits? “Apart from the stairs…that’s all: the stairs.”
