SWAT 7: The Future of the Series with Shemar Moore

The seventh and final season of SWAT, the adrenaline-packed TV series Shemar Moore, finally arrives. Initially, the American network CBS decided to cancel the show, but thanks to fan protests led by the actor himself, CBS decided to renew the series for a seventh season.

When SWAT 7 comes out

Filming for Season 7 is already underway, and actor Shemar Moore has confirmed that production has begun filming new episodes outside the United States. Season 7 is scheduled to premiere on Friday, February 16 in the United States.

SWAT 7 on Rai 2

We still don’t know when Season 7 will air on Rai 2, but we can assume that it won’t happen until after the American season ends. It is likely that we will see the final episodes towards the end of 2024 on Rai 2, but to get confirmation we will have to wait for the fall schedules for 2023/2024.

Season 7 of SWAT, inspired by the 1975 TV series and 2003 film, will once again see… Shemar Moore Like Daniel “Hondo” Harrelson, a former Marine and Special Forces sergeant who runs a specialized tactical unit in Los Angeles. Torn between loyalty to his city and loyalty to his teammates, Hondo attempts to bridge the gap between the two worlds.

Season 7 will consist of only 13 episodes, which is the last in the series. This number was set when CBS decided to renew the series, but it is in line with the majority of television productions this season. Due to the TV writers and actors strike, many TV series will have shorter seasons for 2023/2024.

In Italy, SWAT Season 7 will be available to stream on RaiPlay, simultaneously with streaming on Rai 2. In the United States, the series is distributed by Paramount+. We can’t wait to see how this amazing series starring Shemar Moore ends!
