A robbery involving a smash-up at the L’Isola delle Rose pastry shop in Brescia: opened in 2023, the place is (also) managed by Blanco. It is the singer himself who announced what happened on social media, with two stories published on Instagram on Tuesday: “Our pastries are so good that they sell like hot cakes”, we read. And again: “If you are intolerant or allergic to gluten, look for lactose-free products but also conventional ones, then stop by Viale Italia”.

The attack took place at night between Monday and Tuesday. The thieves smashed the large window overlooking Viale Italia, broke in and emptied the cash register: they then fled at night, probably on foot. The police are investigating what happened: a complaint has already been filed. As previously mentioned, the pastry shop has been open since May of last year: it specializes in both traditional artisanal products and allergy-friendly (gluten-free, lactose-free, etc.).
A mural by the young artist Giulio Corradini was created on the broken window, which was temporarily repaired. After the robbery, a new camera was already installed, which now faces directly onto the street. The pastry shop was open regularly even after the disruption.
