A new challenge all in 3D
What we can see is Professor Layton and the new world in Steam. Made entirely in 3D technology.with a new 3D movement system that leads us to move from one scenario to another, interact with different characters and solve puzzles in a clear way.
The setting is a bit reminiscent of Myst and its derivatives, with the shot switching from first-person to third-person when necessary.
In such a technological world, the two heroes find themselves forced to compete with a strange, disturbing-looking enemy, a type of ectoplasm that challenges the duo to solve various puzzles along the way.

So Professor Layton and the New World of Steam has been confirmed for Nintendo Switch in 2025, and it looks like the game is in a fairly advanced state at this point.
