An Omaha woman was surprised to find nude photos of herself on the Internet in December 2006. At the time, she was only 16-years-old.
Her mother, Twila Bloomingdale, was officially charged with manufacturing child pornography and child abuse last Thursday.
The 49-year-old allegedly pasted head shots of her daughter onto a nude woman’s body and posted them in sexually explicit positions on a Web site.
The unidentified daughter told her father, who was divorced from Bloomingdale, and they notified the authorities.
The Web site administrator was able to give police detailed e-mails from the suspect instructing him to post the photos.
Bloomingdale’s daughter, now 18, also found photos of her mother engaged in sex acts.
Bloomingdale is out on bond after waiving her preliminary hearing in Douglas County Court on Tuesday.
