Young adults are not often noted for their interest in politics, but mention the controversial words “marijuana legalization debate” and an auditorium fills to the brim with them.
More than 500 people crowded into the Centennial Room at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln on Thursday, Feb. 7, to participate in Heads vs. Feds, an ongoing series of debates about the legalization of marijuana. The debate between Steve Hager, former editor-in-chief of High Times Magazine, and veteran Drug Enforcement Agency special agent Bob Stutman was fueled solely by student questions.
