Since 1991, Lincoln has been gathering in the lawn behind the Sheldon Museum of Art, 12th and R streets, every Tuesday in June for Jazz in June. At first, residents would come to enjoy the music, but now, people keep the listeners coming back year after year.
The 2012 Jazz in June season featured Keyboardist Lao Tizer and his band, Darryl White, UNL Faculty Jazz Ensemble, and Will Donato .
The festivities start at 5 p.m. Music begins at 7 p.m.
Come early for best seating. Don’t forgot to bring a blanket and/or lawn chairs.
